Meant for
International Bachelor & Master students, Exchange students and employees who have a lower intermediate level of the Dutch language (CEF A2+) and wish to go to the intermediate level (CEF B1).
Aim
At the end of the course you will be able to to:
- understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in an area where the language is spoken.
- produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest.
- describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
Study load
The 16 lessons take place twice a week and last 1.75 hours. You are expected to spend around 3 to 4 hours a week on self-study.
