Professional Identity and Vision
As part of the Major courses, the Professional Identity and Vision learning line allows students to reflect on and present the development of their Professional Identity and Vision throughout the bachelor program. This learning line helps them to define the direction and learning goals for their Bachelor's program.
Professional Identity and Vision Learning Line
The course Professional Identity and Vision DLB384 Year 1 is the first part of the learning line Professional Identity and Vision. In the first year, students within the course are supported in meetings with a student mentor, who helps them shape their professional identity and vision. They will also have meetings with their PI&V coach. Excercises, trainings and lectures also help shape these two pillars of Industrial Design and teach professional skills such as reflecting, writing and communicating.
In Professional Identity and Vision DLB385 Year 2, students are supported in meetings with a student mentor, who helps them shape their professional identity and vision. They will also have meetings with their PI&V coach. Excercises, trainings and lectures also help further define their professional identity and vision, in context of a squad project and thier B31.
In the third year (Professional Identity and Vision DLB386 Year 3), during their B31 semester, students are also supported by excercises and meetings with student mentor and their PI&V coach. The final assessment will take place before the Final Bachelor's Project assessment. More information to follow.

Assessment
The assessment of the PI&V learning line takes place each year via deliverables further described in the study guide on Canvas.
The assessment of the learning line consists of a the Personal Development Plan, a Reflection assignment and the Portfolio.
This will be assessed per year with a competence assessment.
Registration
Your registration for the learning line Professional Identity and Vision will be done through the Centre for Student Administration of the Department of Industrial Design (CSA ID). Your registration is based on the project or external learning activity you are enrolled in, as well as the advise of the Academic Advisor. If you are not sure of what code you should be registered for, please contact the academic advisors and CSA.
