On this page we explain how you can submit a request to the Examination Committee. The Examination Committee is responsible for assessing your requests such as exemptions, study program approvals, retakes, etc. You can also object to a ruling made by an examiner.
Requests to the Examination Committee should be sent via Osiris Case (Osiris Zaak in Dutch). In OSIRIS Case you will find all your request types in one overview and you can easily follow the progress of your request. A manual and FAQ can be found on the Online systems page and at the bottom of this page.
There is one exception where you must submit your request via a route other than Osiris Case: if you want to submit a request for an internal double diploma program please follow the procedure as described on this page.
Please read the following instructions before sending a request:
- Discuss your request with your Academic Advisor in advance.
- Support your request with a reference to the related article from the PER (OER) of your program.
- Include a detailed motivation of your request.
- Attach, other documents if needed. In Osiris Case you can check the progress of your request.
- The examination committee will decide within four weeks after having received your request.
- For students doing a double Master: please be aware of the fact that you should submit your request twice (for each Examination Committee separately). Please check out the guidelines of the other program as well on how to submit a request.
If you encounter problems with the form, please contact the Examination Committee via mcs.examination.committee@. tue.nl
In case you are not a student yet, and you would like to request exemptions based on courses obtained outside of your degree study program, please use this form.
