There are English and Mathematics requirements for admission to the pre-master program. You can read about those requirements here: https://educationguide.tue.nl/programs/pre-masters-programs/requirements-for-admission.
Students who have an HBO bachelor degree in one of the following subjects are eligible to participate in the Pre-master program Embedded Systems if they also meet the English and Math requirements (see below).
- Computer Science (Dutch: Informatica)
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Dutch: Elektrotechniek)
- Mechatronics (Dutch: Mechatronica)
Students with a University (WO) degree may be eligible for the pre-master program if their deficiency is a maximum of 30 credits. Those students should look at the tab called “Prior University Bachelors”. The pre-master program is intended for students whose prior education was at a Dutch educational institution.

If a student has a deviating prior education, their eligibility for the pre-master can only officially be determined by the Faculty Admission Committee after they apply on Studylink.
