Bachelor's before Master's rule

Starting September 2012, TU/e introduced the Bachelor-before-master rule (harde knip), which means that a student needs a bachelor diploma in order to be allowed to start a Master’s program. Although HBO-graduates have completed a bachelor program, TU/e considers them bachelor students until they have completed the pre-master program.
