Are you looking for an additional challenge to your current program?
Or does a master program in another department at the TU/e interest you? Then you might want to consider a Double Diploma.
With a Double Diploma, you will combine the Master in Industrial Design with another master program. It is an attractive way to complete two diplomas, as you do not need to complete the two full programs of both departments.
Program
A Double Diploma program has a total study load of at least 165 ECTS and at most 195 ECTS for obtaining two 'master degrees' with corresponding certificates.
As each TU/e department has set requirements and criteria for a Double Diploma program, you should contact the academic advisors of both departments first and look into the different sets of requirements of the programs. The Double Diploma requirements MA ID document shows the rules for the Industrial Design department. You can find this on the Forms and files page.
You should be clear about your learning goals and motivation before deciding on a Double Diploma.
Application
The Examination Committees of both programs of the (double or joint) degree need to approve your program. Both committees will consider the part of the program that is related to their own department. Double diploma requests must be submitted before the start of the second year of your TU/e enrolment.
