The internship can only be assessed when the preliminary (draft) report is submitted according to the procedure (see also the ‘to-do list’) and the end date as written on your internship contract. Writing this report is part of the internship period.
After delivering your preliminary report you can schedule a presentation date in consultation with your TU/e supervisor.
The final evaluation takes into consideration the manner in which the internship has been performed and the product as produced.
Your internship project will be assessed by your TU/e supervisor (in consultation with the external supervisor) on the following aspects:
- Approach and Execution of internship (50%)
- Quality of the report (30%)
- Quality of the presentation (20%)
The internship is completed after the grade has been registered and the final report has been uploaded in sharepoint. The final report will not become available from the systems of the TU/e other than for internal quality procedures. So, confidentiality is not an issue. Internship reports will be deleted after the legal retention period of 2 years*.
* On request of the supervisor, students are allowed to mark the text as confidential, for example by adding a watermark, on the condition that the text of the final report remains complete and legible.
Only for MoM Students: Exemption from Knowledge Embargo
Ensure that you have received the exemption Exemption from the Knowledge Embargo for the MoM section before your internship ends, as it is necessary to process your grade in Osiris.
