Admission

The admission to and enrollment in a pre-master program relating to a master program are open to students who are in possession of a Higher Vocational Education (Hbo) degree certificate or a university Bachelor's degree certificate. The student has to have a maximum of 30 ECTS deficiency to be able to enroll and upon completion, to continue in the master program AI&ES. 

If the certificate has not yet been actually awarded, the prospective student may still enroll in the pre-master program on condition that before the start of the pre-master program the student is in the possession of a statement by the Examination Committee of the institution in question declaring that the student has fulfilled the conditions for obtaining the university BSc degree or Hbo certificate.

Important: the enrollment in the pre-master program AI&ES is only possible in September. It is not possible to start the pre-master program AI&ES in February.

English

To successfully participate in a pre-master program at TU/e, a student needs to have a sound knowledge of the English language. Therefore, when you apply for a pre-master program, you need to provide proof that you have (at least) a pre-university (VWO) level in English.

Math 

To be able to successfully complete a pre-master program at TU/e, you must have a sound understanding of mathematics B or T. Therefore, when you apply for a pre-master program, you must provide proof that you have the required minimum level of mathematics: pre-university (VWO) mathematics B or T.
