Admission HBO bachelors

The following HBO Bachelor’s degrees provide direct access to the pre-master program AI&ES:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Elektrotechniek or Mechatronics of a Dutch University of Applied Science (HBO).
  • Bachelor of Science in Applied Science/Natuurkunde of a Dutch University of Applied Science (HBO).
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering/Werktuigbouwkunde of a Dutch University of Applied Science (HBO).

For students who have a Higher Vocational Education (HBO) degree certificate of a degree program
as listed above the pre-master program AI&ES encompasses a maximum of 30 credits. Students who have a deficit of at most 15 credits can enter the master program AI&ES  and must follow the missing courses as homologation in the free elective courses.

For students with a different degree than listed above the Departmental Admissions Committee will determine if the deficiency is less or equal to 30 credits. If this is the case, the Departmental Admissions Committee will decide whether admission to and enrollment in the pre-master program is permitted.

Students can register through Studielink for enrollment in the pre-master program AI&ES. Be aware of the May 1st deadline.

After a student successfully completes the pre-master program AI&ES within the set term (maximally two semesters), the student is admitted to the master program and can continue with the master program AI&ES.
