A thesis supervisor for AI&ES students must be an assisstant, associate or full professor who is appointed by the Examination committee of his/her faculty to act as an examiner, who belongs to one of the research groups participating in the AI&ES program of the following departments:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Applied Physics
- Mathematics and Computer Science
- Biomedical Engineering
- Built Environment
- Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences
A thesis supervisor can also be anyone explicitly appointed by the Examination Committee AI&ES (EC AI&ES).
Any staff member that meets the above requirements, can supervise a student that is enrolled in any track within the AI&ES master.
