The results of this evaluation were provided to the teachers, and have been discussed with the Director of Education and the Program Committee. In general the evaluation outcomes are positive.

Bachelor's Program

The response rate of the evaluations of Q1 varied between 18-62%. For six courses students expressed their appreciation for the course in grades ranging from 6.2 to 8.0. One course even received an 8.4. Two courses received an insufficient grade. Students are in general satisfied with their teachers. Aspects that were less valued for some courses are the level of the course and the course materials provided. For one core course as an example, the content appeared to be too difficult.
 

Master's Program

The response rate of the course evaluations in Q1 ranged between 37,5% and 64.5%. Students expressed their appreciation for the courses in grades ranging from a 6.4 to 8.0. Students valued courses as very relevant in their study program, all were graded on relevance with an average of 4.5 (on a scale of 1-5).

Improvement

When looking at the evaluation outcomes of the bachelor and master courses in quarter 1, we see opportunities for improvementIn general students are satisfied with the courses; the average grade for all bachelor courses is a 6.9 and for master courses a 7.5.

The results of the evaluations will be discussed in the Education Councils and with a delegation of the Program Committee. Within these meetings the plans for improvements will be discussed.
