This is the Dutch Immigration and Naturalization Service in the Netherlands. The TU/e is required by law to inform the IND when a student, holding a residence permit for studies, obtains less than 50% of the required credits during the academic year (1 September – 31 August). Only recognized personal circumstances can exempt a student from the study progress requirements.
