Project description

In this challenge both teachers and students from the alliance between Eindhoven, Wageningen and Utrecht will collaborate and co-learn across disciplines. Connected to the Nelson Mandela University, South Africa, we will take a global perspective on the places where we live.

The building you live in, the street it is on, the neighborhood you are part of and the city in which it is located. They are all inter-connected and together they offer a unique setting that is highly challenging and, at the same time, provides excellent opportunities for change. How could we drive sustainable change in relation to e.g. bio-diversity and social resilience?

In an inter-cultural setting we challenge you to work on out-of-the-box, scientifically sound solutions for future living environments.

Special remarks

In week 1 and week 9 of Q4 (Friday, April 25th and Friday, June 20th), there will be deviations from the normal schedule due to onsite visits. Please consider this when choosing this project and plan accordingly with other courses or activities, as availability for the entire day will be required for these specific weeks.
