Interdisciplinary team project

The Interdisciplinary team project (5ARIP10), worth 10 ECTS, is a challenge-based and interdisciplinary team project in Q3 and Q4 of the 1st year. The team project is scheduled in Q3, timeslots C and E and in Q4, timeslots A and B.

Each track has a fixed timeslot per quartile for the teamproject:

  • Q3, timeslot C - track 2, 3, 4 and 5 and E - track 1 and 6
  • Q4, timeslot A - track 2, 3, 4 and 5 and B - track 1 and 6

You may enroll in the team project once you have obtained 10 credits in core or specialization courses. In special cases deviations from the entrance requirement are possible. You can submit a request for this at the Examination Committee AI&ES. The entrance requirement also holds for students who enrol in the master program AI&ES in February.

You must do the AI&ES team project of your chosen track. The AI&ES team project cannot be replaced by another team project.

Teams of 3 to 5 students work on realistic and open-ended problems connected to industrial applications under the supervision of a staff member.

Developing professional skills, such as research planning, writing, presenting and collaborative multi-disciplinary teamwork is an important learning objective of the team project. You are trained in these professional skills via workshops that focus on the deliverables of the team project.

Please be aware of the registration deadlines for enrolling in courses and examinations.
