Master program
The Science and Technology of Nuclear Fusion Master’s program is a two-year program. Each year is worth 60 credits, with each credit equivalent to 28 hours of study.
The Master’s program includes 120 credits and consists of the following components:
- Mandatory core courses – 20 credits
- Track electives – 20 credits
- Masterclasses – 5 credits
- Free elective space – 15 credits
- Internship – 15 credits
- Graduation project – 45 credits
At least 15 ECTS of the internship or graduation project needs to be executed abroad.
Approval of your study program
You should list your desired study program on the NF Study Program Form, discuss it with your mentor, and submit the fully completed form to the Study Program Committee via Osiris Zaak, no later than six months after the start of your Master’s program. Also send a copy (Cc) of your NF Study Program Form to your mentor.
The study program for the Combiprogram NF-MAP or a Double Diploma program should be submitted at the study guide for double degree programs.
