If you indeed have graduated before 1 September, the IND study progress check is not applicable to you. Once you graduate and deregister, the IND will be informed about this as well and your residence permit for study is no longer valid, as you are no longer a student then. You are of course very welcome to apply for a residence permit for a so-called “search year” to stay in the Netherlands and look for suitable employment after your graduation.
