Outgoing students

If you wish to study abroad you have plenty of opportunities.

Internship & graduation project abroad

You can do your internship and/or graduation project outside of the Netherlands. A good starting point for arranging this at a great many of universities, research institutions and companies abroad is the network of the EE staff and EE research groups. Many of our staff have excellent connections with researchers and companies abroad. If you are interested in going abroad for your internship and/or graduation project talk to your graduation supervisor about the possibilities.

Please visit this website to learn more about the application process (via Mobility Online) for an outgoing internship and/or project.

It is very important that whenever you receive a contract for an international internship or graduation project to have it checked by our educational lawyers. Therefore you need to fill out and submit the contract via the following form: for internship contracts via this form, for graduation project contracts via this form.  A CSA EE staff member will have the educational lawyers review your contract and forward it to the legal representative of the department of Electrical Engineering who is authorized to sign internship contracts (if necessary). Please be aware that reviewing contracts and implementing changes takes time.

Courses abroad

You can also go abroad for elective courses during your MSc program. If you are interested in going abroad for courses talk to your academic advisor and the International Office EE about the possibilities.

Please visit this website to learn more about the application process (via Mobility Online) for outgoing courses. See also the fact sheets listed in the dowload section below for more information.

For following courses abroad, our department of Electrical Engineering has bilateral agreements with partner universities around the world. Please see the conditional list in the downloads section below. Be aware that the list is subject to change and conditions may apply, please always contact the International Office EE for further information.

How to organize this?

Contact the International Office EE, telephone +31(0)402478762. It is important to allow enough time to prepare your international experience. There are many sources of information: this page is a great place to start.
