Focus

Half of the three-year Bachelor's program is devoted to the major Applied Physics, containing major courses in the field of mathematics and physics, which will prepare you for a job as an engineer in the Applied Physics domain. Next to the major courses, all bachelor TU/e students follow a number of basic courses like mathematics, physics and data analytics. These courses will give you the sound basis that you will need as an engineer and you will gain professional skills such as collaboration skills and planning and organizing skills as well. Via elective courses, you are able to further shape your study right from the beginning.

The Bachelor program Applied Physics is intended to lay the foundation for the students’ scientific approach. This implies that the education during this program gets increasingly connected to research, finally ending with the Bachelor Final Project in which the student acts as a junior researcher in one of the tracks of the department.
